Due to the present and tragic circumstances occurring in Houston led by Hurricane Harvey, promoters of the Uateke Rock Festival in Houston have decided to postpone the event that was to take place at the Humble Civic Arena on Sunday, September 17.
The promoters and all of the 9 participating bands in the festival are currently working on a future date in November to fulfill their commitment to all the fans who have already bought their tickets, and are also working on ideas to make this festival a benefit to help those affected by the hurricane. Among the bands scheduled to perform are Panteon Rococo that had been in Austin for the SXSW Music Festival, Kinky, Los Rabanes and many more.
Once the people of Houston are on their feet and ready to continue with their normal life, the promoters will announce the new date of the festival.
Uateke Rock Festival in Atlanta and in Charlotte will continue as scheduled on September 15 & 16. For more information click here.
